Fight over Dexter the pug resolved
After having spent $20,000 on lawyers since 2006, Doreen Houseman has finally got what she wanted. Superior Court Judge John Tomasello ordered Eric Dare, Houseman’s ex-fiance, to share their beloved pug Dexter with her in five-week rotations, philly.com reports. Dare said earlier he deserved to keep Dexter, because he had paid for his care and feeding for six years. Houseman, on the other hand, proved her devotion by giving Dexter chicken soup when he was sick, and dressing him in doggy Halloween costumes and festive Christmas outfits. The groundbreaking custody arrangement may serve as a precedent for similar lawsuits in the future.

I hope he fought for love not just because he paid for care. It seems they both love the little guy and for the rest of his life he will have both worlds of Pug love. What a sad thing. The two people are now stuck in each other’s lives as well.
