Katherine Heigl saves chihuahuas
Katherine Heigl, the star of The Ugly Truth, Knocked Up and Grey’s Anatomy donated $25,000 for the expenses of transporting 25 chihuahuas from Hollywood to New Hampshire. The tiny four-legged passengers of the LA-Boston flight were quickly adopted after arrival, since there is a high demand for them in NH. At the same time, there are far too many chihuahuas waiting to be adopted in LA, due to the ephemeral fad generated by starlets like Paris Hilton, who keep dogs as accessories.
