Dog abducted by owl escapes

Out of the blue, Sadie the Pomeranian dog plunged to earth in a Davenport street as the owl which had abducted her lost its grip. Luckily for Sadie, a local lady took notice of the dog fallen from the sky, and shooed away the owl wanting its prey back.
As the Quad-City Times reports, Sadie had earlier escaped frightened by fireworks, and had been seized by a huge great horned owl, which took her about 2 miles away. Sadie’s savior, Jamie Padden took the dog home and managed to find the owner and return the Pomeranian, who survived the incident with a few bruises and a broken tail.

This Jamie should be highly credited for being there when this Pom was dropped by the Owl. It probably would not have survived if this person had not been there. I hardly think that Owl was ready to give up.
