Border Collie hero saves child in Haiti

Blaze, a Border Collie dog from Palm Beach saved a 2-year-old girl from under the rubble in Haiti. The dog’s owner, Steve Driscoll is a firefighter and paramedic, who also took part in rescue operations in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. His story may improve the situation of pet stories getting more interest than Haiti brought up by the New York Times recently. Incidentally, the referred BBC dog news item was also about a collie, Cent, who was considered deaf because he only understood Polish.
