Genny dog can’t run for mayor

Genny, a black labrador dog was set to run for mayor in the Canadian town of Clarington, but she was denied registration. The excuse of the heartless bureaucrat was that Genny was not a person. So what? She looks more intelligent and trustworthy than most politicians.
