Hi HoundBounders!
I run Pet365 and we’ve created some dog related infographics that would be a great fit for your blog – take a look and let me know if they’re the kind of thing you’d like to feature?
Thanks,
Matt
I’ll start by post about my Chihuahua E.T.I got him while doing a an IT job for a comsumer, she had four chi’s already, and the bluehaired apple head was pregnant!E.T. is an applehead from a different breeder that had been brought to Mrs.Turner to care for but she was maxed out already. The little guy was barely two months old, skin and bones, weened too early, and had been dumped outside and abandoned.
Little E.T. was the only one in the house who wanted to play, have me chase him,and just sit in my lap, while I worked.I comped Mrs.Turner’s invoice and she graciously gave E.T. to me.He now is a growing like a weed,is almost as big as ZeeBee,my Fawn male, and is a normal, healthy growingh boy.My best payday ever!My lil’ rescue, the whole family loves him!
Hi,
I enjoy your blog and thought you might be interested in a project I’m working on that features adopted dogs.
I’m raising awareness about puppy mills and supporting dog rescue groups by publishing breed-specific books full of stories about adopted dogs. The books give proud owners of adopted dogs a chance to showcase them, raise awareness about dog adoption and breed characteristics, and generate funding for dog rescue through the donation of a portion of each sale. By the end of November, we’ll have completed “Lost Souls: Found!” books on Boston Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, Labradors, and Pit Bulls. We have also published a very special memoir of a Hollywood Studio Wrangler who has worked on set with adopted dogs entitled “Hollywood Barks!”
The stories submitted for the books are truly thought-provoking. The books are a great gift for dog lovers or for that person that might need to be educated about rescue. Is there anything you can do to help us spread the word that the books are available, and that we are looking for stories from people about their adopted dogs? More information and book previews can be found at http://happytailsbooks.com/.

Hello,
My name is Jeff Howard and I author a blog at http://blog.adoptapet.com. I came across your website from a Google Alert about pet adoption. Adopt-a-Pet.com is non-profit website that displays over 125,000 homeless animals form nearly 8,000 animal shelters and humane societies across the country. Since our subject matter crosses paths nicely, and this would be a good opportunity to come together for a great cause, I was curious if you would be interested in one of the following.
1) Would you host a guest post from Adopt-a-Pet.com? We know a lot about pet adoption and I can offer my time to help come up with a post for your website. Possibly we could answer some common questions about pet adoption, and if okay provide a little information on what makes Adopt-a-Pet.com so unique.
2) Would you link to our site? As a non-profit our bottom-line are the animals we save, by linking to our website you’ll help direct your visitors to a place where they can find thousands of pets for adoption. We have a number of ways to link to us, http://www.adoptapet.com/public/links/index.html
3) Would you highlight some of our blog posts? We work hard to create 2 posts per week, that’s over 100 per year. On Tuesdays we usually blog about pet care tips, and on Fridays we blog about good news surrounding pet adoption. If you would like to highlight some of our best post for your readers we are all for it, just as long as you provide a link to our site.
Thanks for taking the time to read this message, please consider the possibilities and let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Jeff Howard
